@clarencehilljr Accountability is a cornerstone of sport. The media apply it to leagues, coaches, players, and officials, sometimes harshly. It’s reasonable to expect that same level of accountability is applied when they stuff up.
Belichick was the best NFL coach ever yesterday and that’s still true today and tomorrow.
The truth is — sports Hall of Fames don’t matter nearly as much anymore because we’ve screwed all of them up.
Bill Belichick, the 8-time Super Bowl-winning HC, is not a first-ballot Hall of Famer, per @SethWickersham and @DVNJr. Belichick fell short of the 40 out of 50 votes needed for induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.

@clarencehilljr Ofcourse. Talent dies in Dallas with ineptitude, and resurrects itself with Super Bowls elsewhere - DWare, Everton Walls, Ken Norton Jnr, Sean Payton, Kellen Moore, the list goes on. DLaw is next and you can only cheer for him.
@VochLombardi is it just me, or does every coach we overlook become a stud - Aden Durde vs Eberflus!!! How did we let that dude walk out the building and let Eberflus in???
@VochLombardi mate, why is it Cowboys cast off cornerbacks seem to do well at other teams? How do they extract the talent we don’t and then complain we don’t have any?
@BryanBroaddus@VochLombardi Can the #Cowboys organisation do a professional development visit to the #Patriots and learn how to set up winning systems and processes? Asking for a friend….
@VochLombardi@dallascowboys Stephen A. Smith loves clowning the Cowboys when they fall apart — meanwhile his Eagles aren’t looking much better.
Who’s the Stephen A. equivalent for roasting the #Eagles? Need someone we can start boosting.
