It's official, I now do voice over work on account of my incredibly talented vocal chords. I've been told my voice is warm, articulate, versatile, precise, colourful, provocative, bright, inspirational, posh, appealing, poetic and sophisticated. They said pick 3, but...ya know.

They say fingernails and toenails are there to protect the pointier bones in your hands and feet. My toenails have developed offensive capabilities beyond what's necessary for "protection". My girlfriend wears jeans in bed to protect her shins.
Luckily, I'm not overly encouraged by Twitter to offer my opinion on every burgeoning topic, as I tend to suffer from what can only be described as 'opinion fatigue' - side effects include apathy, boredom and facetiousness
My brain comes up with seemingly ground breaking ideas at 2 am when I'm trying to sleep. Thus begins the reoccurring struggle - will I remember it in the morning, or should I interrupt my sleep further to write it down? Turns out, the idea is often trash.
Continuing my zombie spree, I've watched #Alive, Ravenous and The Girl with All the Gifts. All of them are good zombie flicks, though I have to say, Ravenous is a little more left of field, which I think is a welcome quality in such a oversaturated subgenre.
These are some popular disparaging phrases that I think we should retire
- Get over yourself
- You need to take a look in the mirror
- Don't be such a child
- Come to your senses
- I think that Aaron guy is shit
- Mr Kara, you're no longer allowed in this establishment
When I was young, my big brother played a lot of zombie games, 'Resident Evil' and the like. Used to scare the shit out of me. The wheezing, screeching, flesh eating denizens of fiction haunted me. Now, as an adult, they are the object of my obsession. I love zombie movies.
Does anybody else linger up and down supermarket aisles in an increasing state of panic, picking up random items from shelves with bleary eyed uncertainty, trapped between what you need, what you want and why you're even in a supermarket?
@LesleyKara It's all the little additional tasks. The walking to and from the gym. Wondering up and down supermarket aisles. Meal prep is long (I've starter cooking more extravagant meals) and ofcourse the intermittent bouts of paralyzing anxiety really extend the duration of my day
I've tried to increase the amount I cook and exercise each day. I've surmised that going to the gym, doing a food shop, cooking the food, eating the food and then cleaning the kitchen takes approximately 9 hours.
I've come up with my own killer core workout. You start with a 6 backwards lorbo thrusts, onto a glib breaker, 45 seconds on the trot, do 6 minutes of those, an hour of agricultural crunches, hurly burly whirly, 6 reps of 20, finish with a loud enema.
As much as I consider myself a semi rational person, I still can't maintain a consistent opinion of my creative writing. One day it's - "my characters are beginning to shape their own stories, wow." The next day - "there's no story here and I hate everything including the title"
