@DaveNadig You know, had the Feds really gone after Equifax in 2017- like really hard- this wouldn't be an issue today. But since they didn't and there's no recourse or punishment for data leaks, we get thoughts & prayers.
@JonFSchwartz@EricBalchunas Why couldn't they? An ETN is nothing more than an unsecured bond. Issuers don't don't even have to technically buy the assets that the ETN are tied to. BlackRock can just say "we'll pay you this amount on this date when the bond matures minus fees."
@MLPguy I have a theory, that MLPs will be back by the end of the decade. Given all the stimulus, Federal debt load, etc. taxes are going to have to rise. At that point, it'll make sense to spin-off these sorts of assets into a MLP again. I'm not holding my breathe, but still.
