I don’t like this image. You probably don't like this image. So why did I still shoot the photo?
Because it made me money.

I’d been shooting this Pacific Gull and thought I'd scared it as it spread its wings and took flight, but moments later I was waist deep in a huge wave 😬 Luckily I kept my footing, otherwise me and my gear would have been swept down the rock face and out into the swell! 📸😂
Like most of #Canada, #Vancouver is a beautiful place that coexists remarkably with #Nature, and I love that in this image we’re not only treated to an incredible #Sunset but that you can see the city on the left merging with the forest of Stanley Park on the right. 🏙🌲📸
You might not be as excited as me but for someone that loves wildlife (and photographing it) as much as I do, there’s nothing like the thrill of finding an animal you’ve never seen before in person! This Marmot was super chilled and wandered past our tent out in in BC! 🐾
A trip into the #BackCountry near Penticton revealed some breathtaking #Landscapes. #BritishColumbia has some of the most beautiful pine forests in the world! I can't wait to explore more and discover the #Wildlife and hidden secrets that the #Wilderness of the North keeps! 📷
It's important to spend time without a camera. I find myself thinking 'Would I prefer to be one of the surfers instead of the guy wit the camera?' 🌊 If I hadn't already spent the morning #Surfing, I'd definitely prefer to be in the water! 😂 Good work/life balance is important.
This Buff-Breasted Paradise Kingfisher was hard to miss whilst hiking through Mossman Gorge in Queensland. The vibrant blue and orange plumage is undoubtedly how it earned the 'Paradise' name! Definitely visit @Queensland, Australia for some incredible #WildlifeEncounters!
This is Peanut. 🐹 🥜
She’s a much loved member of the family that we sadly had to leave behind when we relocated to Vancouver from the UK. Luckily we had some awesome friends that gave her a loving home and send us regular updates!

Wishing everyone #HappyHolidays and a #MerryChristmas to those that celebrate it! A perfect time to reflect on the past year, enjoy friends and family... and probably look through a few old photos too! What will you be doing for Christmas?
@britshipyards in #Steveston, #BritishColumbia are a great place to visit if you're looking to escape the city for a few hours - and it's where I captured this serene image besides the water earlier this year! Revisiting this image makes me wish for warmer days of Summer again...
This part of the world is home to a large number of hummingbird species - and I was delighted to photograph my first ever one in Steveston, British Columbia!
This is a male Anna's #Hummingbird, flashing iridescent pinks & mauves as it paused for a moment on a rosebush.
