This year's NBA Finals proves the worst thing about professional sports is when a New York team is good. I want the Knicks to win tonight to save me from another week of stories about how marginal celebrities who are suddenly Knicks fans are celebrating. Nobody cares.
@jasonbenetti I realize the condition of the infield was the primary culprit, but I still feel Peaches' rabbit story was really the final straw for this game. He got halfway through that story and they crew decided it was time to call it. #raindelayquestions
@ssopata36@JB17191966@_p_t_g_22@_blue42 What, exactly, did he start here??? This team was flush with a young, talented core when he arrived. He coached the talent the Dorsey blessed this organization with and got them to the playoffs. Then he and Berry started building... and we have 6 wins the past 2 yrs!
I forgot how much I missed @iamtrevort on #lgrw broadcasts. Time for @FanDuelSN to get it right and make him a permanent fixture on Red Wings broadcasts.
@DetroitTigersPR Dan is a great guy. Love all the broadcast combos on radio and TV, but Dan holds a special place as the elder statesman. Thoughts and prayers to Dan and his family.
@I480BRIDGE That happens when you've got 3 guys on the floor who you can't trust with the ball in that moment and another (Jerome tonight) who clearly didn't want it.
I hope the @ComericaPark scoreboard operator is more on their game today than yesterday. Kenta Maeda's day was bad. The scoreboard operator's was much, much worse. Hope they shake it off and bounce back strong for Game #2. #Tigers
@gabidelphia@kevinnbass It's curious that this is the person the New York Times chose to recap the Covid debacle... if history is to be written by the winners, then those who advocated for mandatory masking and school closures in 2021 and beyond should stay out of it.
@kevinnbass@ryguy9296 It is also an important part of any honest recap to explain that any mean-spiritedness on the part of the truth-tellers was in response to the astonishingly unscientific and undemocratic efforts to silence their concerns.
The problem being described here is teens' over-reliance on Snapchat for ALL social interactions... no solution provided by Snapchat will fix that. The real fix is parents shouldn't let their kids on it in the first place!

@ProfMJCleveland It's weird how much his inherent gifts have waned now that his dad is no longer in a position of power. What an incredible coincidence!
@ImUrChucklberry And this is just the math of the 12 million who most obviously don't exist... think of all the others who aren't as easy to identify who are no doubt pulling payments out of the system. The numbers will be staggering, assuming we ever get an accurate count...
@ImUrChucklberry For the average it seems reasonable to assume the 120 year olds in the system started participating in or around the 1960s when average benefits were <$100/mo. If they were at $100 when COLA adjustments began, they'd still be under $1,000 per month today. HUGE numbers regardless.
