On Sunday, Lowell sixth graders Isabella, Isabelly, Sasha, Liz, Preston and Mary planned a fun egg hunt for three young kids from an Afghan family who have recently settled in Lowell. They also had fun playing soccer even when it started to rain!
Last weekend, Lowell 10th-11th graders James, Enoch, and Eddie led a basketball clinic @TyngsboroSportsCenter for 4th-7th graders. They ran some drills and taught the younger kids how to improve their basketball skills and some new moves and tricks. #aaronpresents
Earlier this week, Lawrence eighth-graders Juliet, Radelkis, and Steisy babysat a 3-year-old girl and gave her mom a break. They spent the afternoon playing outside with the girl, giving the gift of what kids crave the most— attention and love. #aaronspresents
Meet Ransiel, a seventh grader at Lowell Community Charter Public School. Originally from Lowell, Ransiel joined Aaron’s Presents because he wanted to give back to his community. “It warms my heart to see people happy because I know I am doing good for the world,” Ransiel said.
Last Saturday, four Andover fifth-graders, Aviad, Brian, Jadryk, and Nihal, cleaned up piles of trash that surrounded a homeless encampment on Broadway in Lawrence. They hope to inspire other AP groups to go to the site to continue cleaning up the trash. #lawrence
Last week, our kids were busy helping Lowell elementary school students develop their athletic skills. On Wednesday, a group of Lowell sixth-graders led a soccer clinic and on Saturday, Lowell eighth-graders held a basketball clinic. Thank you @TyngsboroSC!
