@hthieblot I think I might fit the ask here 😂 solved for myself task overload that AI has now surfaced, and now finding others in same pain to help also with my app Newday. Week 2 in and with active users already
@thejustinwelsh Just shipped a new product last week after years of thinking "I'm not a developer, I can't build things."
Got roasted on Reddit today for trying. Still building anyway.
@thejustinwelsh you're right, the only wrong move is not trying.
A few people have been using Newday for a week now.
Nobody asked them to keep using it.
They just did.
That's the only metric that matters early on.

In Newday I will write something like, "just finished the proposal for client, and GTM update"
Newday reads it and closes the tasks in both HubSpot and Notion at the same time.
No clicking. No copy-pasting. Just writing.
This is what I've been building: https://t.co/yzpKfaHrOS
Part of why I started Newday, I kept forgetting to update Notion after calls.
Not because I didn't care. Because by the time I finished the call, I was already onto the next thing.
So I built something that updates it for me while I'm writing my daily notes.
@code_codeforge You’re not unproductive, you’re just overwhelmed with how much AI unlocks for you. I’m trying to solve it here : https://t.co/5OL14EAwlN
@seeksahib Nice one. Into week 2 of https://t.co/gfnPMxFkvD it is a journalling app that automatically creates and marks tasks as done as you write. It also connects into Hubspot and Notion to mark tasks off as done when you do it in newday!

Every sales, customer success and marketing person I know has tasks in:
- HubSpot
- Notion
- Their inbox
- Slack DMs
- Their head
And somehow expected to stay on top of all of it.
No wonder things fall through the cracks.
In week 1 of building in public.
What I shipped this week:
-Email verification
-Stripe billing
-HubSpot + Notion two-way sync
What I learned:
Real users find bugs and offer feature suggestions you never would find or consider!

@rivestack Thanks @rivestack the first conflict I quickly found was having it only pull on that particular user only and others, solved it with bringing in their user ID only and put on top of it a helper admin section so user doesnt see the ID's, just the namespaces and their own name.
@LessonsFromProd Thanks @LessonsFromProd honestly surprised at the pick up already for people trying it out! I think aiming it GTM, something specific, has helped here.
@jasonlk Nice one. What a lot of GTM teams get wrong here also is they are automating trash. AI can be such a massive lever, but the hygiene needs to be there first. Automation through AI is the last step.
The bottleneck for GTM teams used to be doing the work. Now it's keeping track of it all. AI made us capable of so much more that task management became the new full-time job.
