Inauguration of the KIMS–Subhra Rural Hospital today at Kanchisole, Betnoti —a very remote rural village in Mayurbhanj district. Kanchisole is the native village of Shri Girish Chandra Murmu Ji, a respected policymaker and one of the most people-friendly IAS officers from Odisha.

This year, universities from Odisha together won 28 medals, and KIIT alone contributed 21 out of 28. This is a proud moment for all of us.
Our students won Gold in tennis, rugby (men & women), athletics, cycling and many other events. Our Hockey Team also made Odisha proud.

Honoured to meet Shri Vikram Doraiswami Ji, High Commissioner of India to the UK, during my visit to London.
It was a very warm interaction, and I felt happy to receive his kind words and goodwill. We spoke about education, youth, and how KIIT & KISS try to serve society.

Very happy to share that @KIITUniversity has received the “Best Emerging University” Award at the 55th ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education) National Faculty Convention in Puducherry. This honour means a lot to all of us at KIIT.
Like every year, we distributed shawls and sweaters to all 40,000 KISS children as winter begins. I personally look after the purchase. When I see the happiness on their faces after receiving them, it gives me a joy that I never experienced in my own childhood.

Deeply saddened by the passing of legendary actor Shri Dharmendra Ji.
He was not only a great artiste loved by generations, but also a humble and warm-hearted human being. I fondly remember his visit to KIIT & KISS, where he blessed our children with so much affection.
Happy to be with the parents and little children at the Preterm Health Mela organised by the Neonatology Department of KIMS today. Our neonatal unit has been taking care of thousands of newborns over the last ten years, and seeing these children grow healthy gives me great joy.
Happy to know that KIIT-DU has partnered with Tata Power Odisha DISCOMs to start a Work Integrated Learning Programme. This will help many staff upgrade their skills while continuing their work. KIIT has always supported learning, growth and nation-building in every possible way.
On my 1 day visit to Sri Lanka, I felt happy to meet and interact with the Hon’ble MPs and policymakers of the country. Our discussions were warm and meaningful. We exchanged ideas on education, culture, art, and the long-standing spiritual connection between Odisha & Sri Lanka.
