Today, I met a mother. Not mine… but someone’s. She was lying on the side of the road, trembling in pain. Her leg was broken in an accident. People passed by… some stared, none stopped. She had no one. No family, no food, no roof. Just tears in her eyes and dust on her wrinkled feet. I took her to the hospital. Got her food, gave her water, held her hand. She didn’t ask for money— She only asked, "Beta, kya tu mujhe chod ke chala jaayega?" And in that moment, I broke. A stranger’s pain felt like my own.
