Biology prof Dr. Rick Bortnick plays a game of "Name That" with #DelVal students at our coffee & donuts event on Tuesday!
(don't mind the screaming bugs in the background because, honestly? same.)
We must stand up for all of our students. The federal government's targeting & treatment of international students is unacceptable. International students are core members of the Buckeye community, & we won’t be silent as they are scapegoated in this way

The most disappointing part of Pres. Holloway’s hollow address to @RutgersU was the tired claim that worker demands force tuition hikes. We know this strategy to divide workers and students. The worst bosses harness this rhetoric. I expected more. @ruaaup @union1766 @ruaaup_ptl
THE STRIKE IS OVER! We have a tentative agreement. All Faculty will return to work duties tomorrow Monday, September 12.
We could not have done this without all of the support from our Students, the Community, and the Union organizations.

The fact that the Secret Service, Homeland Security, and the Pentagon actually did the thing everyone accused Hillary Clinton of doing should be a much bigger story.
Teacher Spotlight!!
Doug McCambridge has been teaching Graphic Design, Digital Photography, and a variety of other visual arts for nearly twenty years
He also introduced both Graphic Design 1&2 & Publication Design courses into the Media & Communications curriculum at DelVal.
94% of our faculty voted w/a majority in favor of ratifying Admin's "best and final" offer. It was a long fight with a lot of feelings left in its wake, but our union has spoken. We will continue to build solidarity and fight for our faculty, our students, and our university!
Happy to feature Dr. Melissa Langston as today's #delvalfaculty! Dr. Langston is a Chemistry professor and advisor for our very own Sisters in Stem club.
First question: What is your favorite part of teaching? What keeps you coming back every year?
Its completely normal for a student to send an email at 10PM and then email again the next morning at 8AM asking why you have not replied to them. Just as a medical professional is on call, faculty are "on call" to students throughout the semester.
