After reading the story of the Bangladesh couple who were reportedly executed in Saudi Arabia while on their honeymoon, I feel compelled to share my perspective. As a Muslim, I find it deeply troubling that people are killed in this manner. I love and respect my religion, and Allah. but I believe he never grant anyone the authority to take an innocent life, that's not the faith I follow. While I was born into Islam, I refuse to impose it on my children. If they eventually choose to transition to another religion where they feel they have more freedom, I will not stand in their way.
