The perennial flooding affecting communities in Ugwunagbo & Aba South is being tackled by the govt through the construction of a 10-km canal.

This will collect stormwater from Uratta, Umuagbai, Obohia, Ohanku, Asa Erimmiri, and Abayi Nchokoro and channelled into the Aba River.
