Miles Russell with a Father’s Day gift for the ages.
Brought his dad inside the ropes to caddie so he could walk the 18th hole with him at his first major championship.
His dad apparently had no idea.
Special.
Česká reprezentace, která během základní skupiny pobývá v texaském městě Fort Worth, přijala pozvání městské samosprávy k návštěvě místní čtvrti Stockyards. 🇺🇸
I’ve worn this metal bracelet for 21 years and I can’t tell you exactly why.
It’s honoring Sergeant Joseph D. Hunt who died in Iraq in 2005. I never met him nor do I know his family. He was from the small town where I worked and I was moved by the way our community responded to his passing.
I say this every year, but the reasons I wear it feel complicated. It’s something about honor and sacrifice and responsibility when putting people in harms way. It makes me sad and happy and angry and proud and much more. It makes me think of things bigger than myself. So I keep wearing it.
Thank you, Sergeant Hunt. And thank you to the Veterans and the families and friends who supported and who miss them.
These were my platoon sergeant years (2007-2009). This was right around the time the Ranger Regiment shifted from supporting Tier 1 units and was unleashed to work targets unilaterally.
The really great part was that we were hitting targets with Ranger privates who were only a few months out of RIP in the same target sets as Tier 1 units.
I have a lot of similar footage I’ll never release for personal reasons, but this is good stuff.
They make mistakes; that’s what AARs are for.
Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.
Never a dull night.
Best time of my life.
RLTW!
Was at the WH Correspondents dinner last night, a rare DC trip for me without a subpoena. On the positive side—was exciting, no one was killed, and ended early. I noted a new litmus for status among the gov’t elite—whether you were whisked away by secret service, or left to fend.
With America's 250th anniversary just around the corner, we're looking back at the heroes who started it all. 🇺🇸
Tonight we honor Paul Revere's midnight ride–the spark in the dark that ignited the American Revolution.
Thought I was making the dumbest mistake of my life today when I requested an interview with Fred Couples after finishing his opening round at the Masters quad-double-double-par.
To my surprise, Fred said yes, talked through every shot, and admitted he still had fun. Amazing
