Ornstein is a perfect example to follow for anyone looking to get in to football journalism. He doesn’t entertain, he informs. He doesn’t build a brand of tearing other people down, he doesn’t say the same thing twice just for RT’s and doesn’t speak at all unless there is something meaningful to be said. It is so unbelievably difficult to be that well informed and to be that accurate, he is obviously someone who has a lot of trust of key people in the game. That’s how it’s done.

So you mean to tell me England had two Pep Guardiola Man City centre-backs, a £300m+ midfield three, a £117m right winger who lives in the pockets, a left winger who’s just signed for Barcelona, and arguably the world’s best striker who drops deep… yet couldn’t control possession against any team that put half a press on, that’s mental.
Tuchel’s got blood on his hands
Women not once question if they’re reciprocating the initial energy men be putting in or if they’re treating the men with enough love, affection, and respect for them to be consistent and stay giving 100% of the energy and that’s so funny to me lol
my biggest piece of life advice is that more people should break up after 5-7 years, breaking up should always be on the table and many many people’s lives would be improved by realizing it’s not a moral failing for things to change
