Public infrastructure is built for all, not a personal playground for luxury car owners. Mindless abuse of taxpayer-funded development is utterly disgraceful.

Given the skyrocketing school fee for an average Ethiopian family & the dismal quality of education, I wish Ethiopia learn from this Rwandan experience & follow its trajectory.

The Pan African president, exposing European abuse of Africa, natural resource in the name of capitalism. Western corporation take out more out of Africa than they give back.. they do not pay any tax.

[Don Salmon @dijoni]

The IMF and world bank was never created for the interest of Africa and Caribbean countries. It cares about the interest and capitalism of western countries.. it’s time Africa created their own African bank for development. Walk away from these so-called world bank.. It’s a form of control by western capitalism.

In my 2019 book👇, I had one chapter about Botswana's & Mauritius' development experience - I call them successful democratic developmental states, although they need to work more on diversification - worth studying them as a model for the rest of Africa.

Africans must work hard to build peaceful, democratic, and prosperous nations. Recognition alone does not guarantee greatness.

Consider this comparison:
Taiwan (a small, unrecognised state): $668 billion GDP
30 African countries (all recognised): $669 billion GDP (combined)

The lesson is clear: Hard work, innovation, and good governance matter more than international recognition alone.
