In collective worship this week, we have been exploring the British value of democracy. We have learnt about the sacrifices people made to gain the right to vote. Remember to take the opportunity today.

It's January. Go easy on yourself. Nothing in nature grows all year round; everything has a period of dormancy before it bursts forth - rest and replenish. Your time will come to grow and flourish! #rest #hibernate #RootsForLife - credit Roots Psychology

Thanks to Mrs Nott, the playground is gritted. We are preparing to be fully open as normal tomorrow. However, we will review the situation first thing in the morning and share this via text message, e-mail and Twitter if there are any changes.

We're seeing an increased number of cases of Group A streptococcus (#StrepA) compared to normal at this time of year.

As a precaution, here's the latest advice for parents, schools, colleges and early years providers from @UKHSA 👇

What an incredible afternoon of football. First to Kidderminster Harriers for the ESFA tournament, where as the smallest school competing, we finished 5th out of 10 teams. Then to the Chantry where both teams played their hearts out for victory alongside Hallow. #thisgirlcan
