@mattgaskin1 @Mayor_Guildford Thank you @mattgaskin1 and Marta for organising this very memorable day and for looking after everyone so well. Our residents loved their Christmas day lunch and gifts and had a brilliant time. A huge thank from everyone @abbotshospital.
Merry Christmas to everyone who supports us and to those who gave their time and effort in making the 400th Anniversary year so special. Most importantly, thank you to our Founder, the late Archbishop George Abbot for his legacy to the people of #Guildford. Thank you George.
Talented pupils from @gabbot_news and @WVCSecondary worked with Liliana Montoya & Carlos España of #AlunaCeramics to create our 400th Anniversary tiles; a lovely way to honour our founder the late #ArchbishopGeorgeAbbot. The tiled panels will be displayed in Guildford in 2020.
Ex Governor Keith Childs unveiled 2 of 4 colourful Legacy tiled panels in front of residents and guests to mark our 400th anniversary year. Liliana Montoya and Carlos España of #AlunaCeramics designed the panels with the assistance of a grant from the @HeritageFundUK.
