Was scrolling through my phone looking for a specific picture when I spotted the one I took of myself completely bald. No hair,eyebrows, or eyelashes. I only took 1. It’s like an out of body experience now looking at it. Only a few days away from my 1 year diagnosis anniversary.

One year since I went in for my initial mammogram, which turned into an ultrasound and biopsy. I can still hear the change in tone of the radiologist doing the biopsy like it was yesterday. I knew by what I was seeing on the ultrasound screen and his choice in words it was bad 😔

Having to check “yes I have a disability” on a job application because I HAD cancer is utter bull shit. It will in no way shape or form impact my ability to work. Hard eye roll 🙄

I have feared this surgery since the day I got diagnosed with cancer. Although I’m still pissed about it, it went as smoothly as anyone could have hoped for. I’m grateful for my medical team. They are truly amazing 💕
