Just a small point from someone whose field of study and work is related to animation and game development:

In the game industry, it's completely normal for a project to go through development with tons of ideas, events, banners, designs, or even almost fully completed content that never gets released (gets canceled even if it's complete and fully playable) or gets set aside for a later time.

For example, it's entirely possible that Love and Deepspace had multiple multi-banners or events in development that we never got to see and that ended up being canceled. This is not unusual at all and happens in many games.

Because of that, there's another possibility: Infold might use one of those older projects for the next multi-banner. It could be something that never included Valko at all and was originally designed for only 5 characters, or 4 characters, or even 3 characters. With some adjustments, they could still release it. In other words, it could be a banner that was already prepared beforehand and simply didn't include Valko.

If that's the case, then it's possible that the banner designed for Valko's appearance is being saved for the time when Valko officially returns to the game.

Of course, this is just my guess and my personal opinion.

But keep in mind that the company has already spent a lot of money on Valko and his banners, so it would make sense for them to keep those banners rather than delete them, and instead bring back older ideas that had already been worked on before.

I just wanted you to consider this possibility as well.

And once again, this is only my personal opinion. ✌️

Let me collect my thoughts before we immediately assume the worst-case scenario: yes, this could still be a five-LI banner without Valko. I know that, and tomorrow may confirm exactly that. But I’m not convinced this is all we’re looking at. (And I choose to be positive)

We’ve seen several possible hints in recent promotional material... the recurring symbols, unusual wording and even “Hint: the forest is coming.” None of these proves anything on its own. They can be interpreted in different ways and may simply be coincidences. Together, however, they’re at least worth remembering.

The much stronger point for me is the opening of the latest Main Story update. It introduces a “living magnetic field” that behaves as if it has a will of its own, moves around the world and cannot be contained. It has existed for “almost two months,” and the scene explicitly says that “an official notice will be released soon.”

Considering Valko’s Evol, this is an extremely specific narrative choice to make right now. If Infold wanted to establish the permanent five-LI lineup and move on from Valko, opening a new story arc with something so closely associated with him (while knowing players are watching for any sign of him) would communicate the exact opposite. Those lines would also be much easier to change than finished visual assets.

Then there’s today’s teaser. It never calls the September 22 content a banner. There is no mention of a Wish Event, limited memories, cards or a Rate-Up Pool. Instead, it says the “signature weapons” will “make their debut,” can be chosen based on what “feels right in hand” and are waiting to be “put to the test.” It also promises an immersive “battle,” with “battle” deliberately placed in quotation marks. Sounds to me like a feature not a new banner.

Most importantly, it says: “The New Version launches September 22.” This suggests a game update or larger content package rather than advertising only a single banner. We don’t know the version number, so it doesn’t necessarily mean a major version jump—but it does imply that more than a single pool may be launching.

It also lists “Touch. Temperature. Distance. Control.” ( only four things) before referring to “five distinct features.” That makes me wonder.. can't they count or do we miss something here? I also wonder whether this is actually a new spicy interaction mode.

It could still launch alongside new memories or even a five-LI banner, of course. But the teaser itself appears to advertise a feature first, not explicitly a banner.

So yes, the worst case is still possible. I’m not presenting this as proof that Valko will appear tomorrow. I’m only saying that the combination of the Main Story setup, the recent promo hints and the actual wording of this teaser is far less conclusive (and much more contradictory) than “five panels = five-LI banner.”

Obviously the framework for legal started at some point between June 22nd up until the 29th.

August 11th the WeChat for paper games legal was created.

September 17th is when it goes live technically, along with their legal article framing what their goal is and what they have done so far.
Now they can't outright say this is for Valko's reinstatement, that would be too on the nose.
So they are broader with it and bring back legal information from prior cases. It doesn't look so pointed.

What if it's to set up for the on-ramp. A very short, as they have demonstrated with Caleb's MS branch, they can do.

A four day or less on-ramp for Valko.

That way when the cyberbullying and the harassment and slander and infringement start, they already have the pipeline set up to deal with it.

I don't know why I didn't think of it but it's the perfect solution.

IP infringement and misinformation start spreading?

They now have established a fast paced mechanisms for gathering evidence.

Their responses today being so rapid are proof of this.
The pipeline they built is functioning.

When Valko is released, PPG is no longer walking into this naked, so to speak.

They have literally provided the pipeline. They have spent time constructing the pipeline to deal with everything they dealt with between June 22nd to June 30th.

They built the wall around Valko.

Their silence still sucked, but it had a purpose and I don't like it...but it honestly lines up.

...Why do I feel like this was the plan all along.

Because it literally is linear.
It's so fucking linear.
Traceable by their own documentation.

Brick by brick.
Pipeline by report.
Literally making the anti's and black water armies easier to document and pursue legally.

Everything that they did up to this, lets them act legally without ever admitting what event they were preparing for.

....fuck. Why didn't I realize the sooner?
