• หากท่านไม่ทราบว่าสถานการณ์มันร้ายแรงถึงขั้นไหน รบกวนท่านเพียงแค่ทวิตว่า "รบกวนแฟนคลับส่งหลักฐานมาได้ที่ ... " เราเชื่อว่าแฟนคลับทุกคนพร้อมยินดีที่จะส่งรูปให้ท่านมากมาย
• การที่ท่านเมินเฉยไม่ร��้ทุกข์ร้อนไม่สนเรื่องราวใด ๆ ทำให้แฟนคลับรู้สึกไม่สบายใจที่ท่านไม่ดูแลศิลปินเท่าที่ควร หรือหากท่านกำลังดำเนินการในเรื่องนี้อยู่ โปรดรบกวนอัปเดตความคืบหน้าเพื่อไม่ให้แฟนคลับต้องมีการทวงถามนะคะ

Every time new DO interview drops, it's the same damn thing all over again. And I just sit here wondering... why does everyone treat 'are you dating' like it's some simple factual question? Bc honestly it's not just about facts. In public that question usually means smth else entirely:

'Are you willing right now to publicly confirm a relationship that we're then gonna pick apart, dissect, photograph and demand explanation for whenever it's convenient for the headline?'

That's what it actually is.

And every person has every right to say 'NO' even if the real answer is 'YES', especially when their career is directly tied to their personal life & how their relationship looks to the public.

'No' in that context means a bunch of things, like:
I don't want to confirm this publicly yet.
I don't want this to become part of your headlines.
I'll only answer within what I'm comfortable saying as a public figure.
I'm not turning my private life into content, etc.

It's just a separation of rolls. Bc a person isn't the same thing as a public persona. And that's exactly why real same-sex cps can spend years being evasive or never confirmed anything at all. The cost of going public has historically been higher for them & honestly, in lot of cases, still is.

An artist coming out can mean losing part of their audience, way more media attention, getting sexualized & endless discussions about their private life. And apparently... zooming in on artist's crotch, their ass, giggling over who is top and who is bottom & in what position… apparently that's just normal now.

And the real problem is that there is no taking words or actions back. Say 'yes' once & suddenly there's a flood of new questions. When did you start dating, who confessed first, do you live together, what happens in the bedroom, do you families approve, are you going to break up after the project wraps, why aren't there are more photos of you together, so when's the engagement and when's the wedding... and on and on...
Bc even a hint of confirmation, one single public kiss turns into a green light for endless interrogation & suspicion.

That's exactly why some real cps just choose not to confirm anything. Not bc they're a shame or scared to share but bc they don't want to hand society ownership of their private life. And honestly the Thai press drives me crazy with this. I get it, it's their job but sometimes this stuff goes way past journalistic curiosity or basic decency. The question stops being a question & turns into flat-out pressure on someone's boundaries. Bc there is a massive difference between 'the artist doesn't want to talk about their personal life' & 'the artist owes a public proof that they are not lying'. That second mindset is genuinely dangerous bc then, not confirming smth automatically gets read as 'they are lying to us'.
Then it's 'they're doing this for the fans'.
Then 'they are queerbating'.
Then 'they're exploiting fans who trust them'.

And eventually, the boy is stuck in a spot where literally any attempt to protect his own privacy gets treated like some fckng moral crime.

The queerbating accusation especially drives me insane. The whole concept is about deliberately dropping queer hints to hook an audience with zero intention of ever delivering real representation. But when we're talking about real queer ppl you hit this logical trap: you can't demand someone publicly confirm their orientation or relationship just to prove they're not queerbating! It's fckng absurd! Don't confirm it & ppl think you're lying. Confirm it & now the public thinks they got a right to your whole personal life.
So really... boys're left with exactly one acceptable option: hand your private life over to the public.
Not much of a choice, is it?..

I am pretty new to DaouOffroad fandom & obviously don't have as much info as fans who have been here forever, so it's harder for me to make super specific arguments... But I picked them with all my heart bc I felt how genius & sincere they are. And not once -- not a single fckng time! -- have I doubted how real & honest they are. I don't see any performance here, no attempt to trick anyone. They are one of the purest & realest queer cps I've ever seen. They are not putting on some show for the gp or trying to convince anyone of smth that isn't actually there. Their whole stance is pretty clear: they're close, they know exactly how they come across & they're not gonna sit there publicly defending what's going on between them every single time someone asks.

And to me personally, that's what actually protecting your privacy looks like.

Not 'there is nothing going on', not trying to rewrite what everyone can clearly see, not demanding people believe some convenient version of events.
More like: 'Yeah you see it. We're not hiding anything in the sense of pretending it's not there. But how we label & define our relationships is OURS to decide.'

And that's exactly why 'let them see it first then we'll talk' hits so well. It's basically him saying: 'See it for yourself first. Then don't come demanding we explain it to you.'

Boys don't owe anyone a public statement about their relationship just bc some journalist's dying for scoop.

'As an ordinary human being -- I'm not single. I've got someone I'm in love with. And I want to protect it. But as an artist, for the press & gp -- I'm single'.
If some of you haven't grown up enough to get difference, that's on you.
