The NHS was in a broken crisis yesterday, it will be worse today… but do remember - despite the narrative that it’s ‘due to strike action’… it was pretty broken in the summer too - that’s why they are striking, it can’t continue like this, just grinding the NHS into the dust 😢
The NHS isn’t only battling the Covid pandemic. It’s dealing with no beds, not enough staff, opening a new Hospital during a pandemic, long hours and bank shifts covering their colleagues. NHS staff’s mental health is taking a battering too. So think before you comment.
There are no ITU beds in the valleys. So you might be 23 and invincible if you get COVID but what if you crash your car? Or a friend takes an overdose or a parent needs emergency surgery? Guess what! No beds for you either. And THAT’S how this affects everyone. Rant over.
