The new OG Mahindra Thar now comes with Electronic Power Steering (EPS), and in my opinion, that’s the worst upgrade for a serious 4x4.

For hardcore off-roading, electronic steering has a higher chance of failure than a traditional hydraulic setup in harsh conditions.

There’s a reason the Toyota Hilux continues to use hydraulic steering it prioritizes durability and reliability.

With the Thar’s tall stance, noticeable body roll, and poor aerodynamics, I believe it might be more prone to toppling during sudden evasive maneuvers.

Add to that the upgrade from 18-inch to 19-inch alloy wheels, and I’m concerned it could further affect ride quality and off-road capability.

Mark my words we may see more such incidents if these concerns prove true! 🤦🏻‍♂️

I usually read Canada has high taxes, Canada taxes the shit out of you.

But I never felt it that way; I went through data from a few other countries like the USA, and since I obviously know India inside and out, I realized the results were very very interesting.

Canada and India have fairly similar taxation percentage, infact same goes to NYC.

So gist of it, India, Canada and US tax almost the same for someone making 100k per year.

One thing to take note of, Canada gives free health care - that's equal for all, free public schools, they are really good, subsidised Uni (again many of them rank way above our best IIT), retirement pension.
Flipside, average non IT salary is around 60k CAD/ year which isn't a lot looking at the way things are priced and things get really bad in Canada if you are rich, 400-500k cad / year. Taxation is as bad as 40% here you are now funding all the non workers.

US has options, if you move to a different state you can be paying lesser, they have no free health care, so you can go broke via medical bills but an average American earns more than 70-80 USD/ year, but what I felt in US was life like in Mumbai, wasn't my cup of tea. Still doesn't change the fact there's no place in world like US of A for IT. Taxation in NY is very similar to Ontario.

India is an interesting space, taxation in certainly high but if you earn less than 12 lkhs ~ 12k USD you pay 0 taxes, but the moment you start making more than 50 lkhs, you are now paying equivalent of western countries but return here is questionable, your reliance with private hospital, school will be very very high. Health care us good if you can buy your way in and have "good contacts" but thats not the case for people who do not have money. GST is also fairly high.
