A bitter cold night in the field did not deter our cadet’s enthusiasm. A total of 55 members of KBA CCF took part in exercise Viking Venture for some it was their first experience of living under field conditions. Well done operating outside their comfort zone.

After 2 hard days on the ranges in cold, wet and windy conditions RAF section finally get some fun time at Cornwall’s Eden Project. Great shooting under difficult conditions and producing excellent scores.

Early 6 am start for our KBA Army sharpshooters on Beckingham live firing ranges. Not only did the cadets excel with their scores but one cadet won top shot scooping the kitty ££££ Over 50 other cadets from other schools took part. Not bad for their first live firing experience.

Wow another awesome adventure with KBA CCF parachuting from 4000 feet. All 8 completing their first static line jump. 12 hour training session completed and a lucky break in the weather after 3 days they finally joined an elite group well done a fantastic achievements.

Tim is a good friend from my time in the Royal Marines. This is an amazing challenge in the cold month of January and the fact that he is fighting a battle with cancer. Wishing him the best of luck and would encourage people to support him for these worthy charities.
