#BREAKING: Djiboutian regime is teetering towards ultimate defeat after the Afar People’s Liberation Front (Front for Change) launched coordinated attacks across multiple fronts against Djiboutian regime forces stationed in Afar towns and cities.

Afar liberation forces reportedly overwhelmed the regime militia’s on several fronts, inflicting them on significant casualties.

Preliminary reports indicate that at least 12 soldiers were killed, with many others captured.

The Front for Change has since formally declared war on the regime, marking a clear escalation in armed opposition and deepening instability in Djibouti.

Labeling Somalilanders as “separatists”is legally and historically dangerous. The State of Somaliland is a de jure sovereign state, exercising full sovereignty based on state continuity since 26 June 1960, and was never legally part of Somalia.

BREAKING :#Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud delivered a televised address accusing Israel of “military expansionism” in the Horn of Africa, land-grabbing, genocide, and the displacement of Palestinians—calling @IsraeliPM Benjamin @netanyahu a “wanted fugitive.”

Hassan questioned the right of the Jewish state to exist at all, claiming the land belongs to “#Palestine,” and portrayed Israel as a “genocidal state,” a deliberate and calculated attempt to delegitimise it.

The speech came hours before a delegation of the Communist Party of China arrived in Mogadishu.
Hassan claimed Somalia, with Arab states and Turkey, will “drive Israel out of the HoA.”

#Update: Farah Maalim is Kenya’s Ilhan Omar.

The Somali-Kenyan MP and notorious conspiracy theorist has come out in defense of funds allegedly defrauded from U.S. taxpayers by Somali networks—money that was later funneled into high-end malls and real-estate developments in Nairobi, including the massive Somali-American–owned BBS Mall in Nairobi.

Farah Maalim has built a political career defined by split loyalty and calculated opportunism, mirroring the posture of Ilhan Omar, the Somali-American lawmaker who, despite holding office in the United States, has repeatedly and publicly expressed allegiance to Somalia. In both cases, public office in their adopted countries has not translated into clear national commitment.

Though elected as a Kenyan legislator, Maalim has consistently aligned himself with Somalia’s positions—even when Kenya’s core interests were at stake. Most notably, he sided with Somalia during the bitter Indian Ocean maritime boundary dispute, at a time when Kenya and Somalia were locked in a sovereignty battle that was ultimately adjudicated at The Hague.

The parallels extend beyond rhetoric. Both Maalim and Omar trace their clan lineage to the same Darood clan in Somalia associated with the deposed Fascist/Marxist dictator Mohamed Siad Barre. Following the collapse of that regime, they resurfaced not as private citizens but as lawmakers in the very countries that offered them refuge—Kenya and the United States—raising enduring questions about justice, loyalty, representation, and whose interests they truly serve.

Their records invite a broader scrutiny:l; whether elected office has been used to advance the interests of their host nations, or to project external agendas under the banner
