Dear Grey Network Community,

As part of our commitment to developing real world utilities around $GREY, we are pleased to share an update on one of the core ecosystem utilities currently under development: the Grey Network Marketplace.

A few days ago, we introduced the Marketplace button inside the Grey Network mining app, giving our community a first look at one of the utilities we are actively building. The Marketplace, also accessible at https://t.co/pctwxKQVct, is part of our broader vision to create practical use cases for $GREY and establish an ecosystem where the coin serves a genuine purpose beyond mining.

🛒 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗦 & 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗘

The Grey Network Marketplace will allow users to shop for goods from participating merchants, pay with $GREY, and have their purchases delivered to their location. Through our Merchant Program, verified businesses will be able to register their stores and upload products for buyers to discover and purchase.

The Marketplace will initially support regional commerce, connecting buyers with merchants within or close to their region. As the merchant network grows, our goal is to expand beyond regional commerce into a global marketplace where users can purchase goods from merchants around the world and have them delivered to their locations.

💰 $𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗬 𝗔𝗦 𝗔 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗔𝗬𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

At the heart of the Marketplace is $GREY as the means of payment. Goods and services offered through the platform will be purchased using $GREY, giving the coin a direct and practical function within the ecosystem. Merchants joining the Merchant Program will be required to accept $GREY and comply with applicable Marketplace policies covering product standards, merchant conduct, pricing, transactions, fulfilment, delivery and the applicable $GREY valuation.

The USD value of $GREY referenced within the Marketplace represents the estimated value being considered by Grey Network for the coin. While this remains subject to confirmation as development progresses, merchants participating in the Marketplace will be required to recognise and comply with the applicable $GREY value established by Grey Network.

Users will always have the freedom to use their $GREY as they choose, including trading or selling it elsewhere. Our goal is to build an ecosystem where $GREY has practical utility and can be used to access real goods, services and other utilities.

The Grey Network Marketplace is currently under active development. The products, prices, checkout actions, wallet interactions and other elements currently visible are part of the development version and should not be interpreted as live commercial transactions. No real world funds or physical product deliveries are currently being processed through the platform.

The Marketplace is one of many utilities planned for the Grey Network ecosystem and an important step toward our broader vision. Mining is only one part of that journey. We are building an ecosystem where $GREY is supported by genuine utility and can be used across products, services and utilities built around Grey Network.

Shaykh Mufti Abdul Aziz ibn Baz (1912–1999) was one of the most influential Islamic scholars of the 20th century. Born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he lost his eyesight completely while still a young man but devoted his life to the study and teaching of the Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh, and Islamic creed.

He studied under leading scholars of his time and became known for his extensive knowledge, simple lifestyle, and dedication to issuing religious rulings (fatwas). Over the years, he served in several important positions, including Vice President and later President of the Islamic University of Madinah, and eventually became the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Fatwa.

Ibn Baz authored numerous books and treatises on Islamic theology, jurisprudence, worship, and da'wah. His lectures and fatwas reached Muslims around the world and continue to be widely studied. He emphasized adherence to the Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah according to the understanding of the early Muslim generations (Salaf).

He passed away on 13 May 1999 (27 Muharram 1420 AH) in Taif, Saudi Arabia, at the age of 86. His death was widely mourned across the Muslim world, and he remains a highly influential figure, particularly among scholars and students associated with the Salafi tradition.
