I recall that after my release, Imrana and I had a conversation. He told me that, “Sultan even after my first detention, I remained a target of certain security agencies (he named the agency specifically)”. He mentioned that he might step back from politics for the time being and focus on his own affairs.
I shared my experiences of detention and the lasting trauma that follows. He responded that we must be extremely careful, noting that we have already built a public profile, have loved ones to consider, and that those in power can be ruthless. He observed that being in the opposition today can amount to a death sentence, and concluded that we needed to reduce our activities.
What I have come to understand about opposition politics is that once you begin, it is very difficult to withdraw. Despite our earlier caution, both of us returned to the same activities.
Imrana is now facing another deeply traumatic situation. I know this is not over for any of us. We cannot remain silent, and the oppression is unlikely to stop.
Insha Allah, Imrana will be released soon and will recover fully.
They do not break us, they only make us stronger.
I will never get tired of calling their attention until JAMILA is FREE
Please don't get tired of retweeting and mentioning the right authority, let's bring Jamila back home

@Faroukmahuta Since the day he declared his support for Asiwaju everyday he will come with different explanation, wannan kadai ya Isa ka gane wannan ba ra'ayin shi bane, San zuciya ne.
Sadly she reportedly told her husband that even if she returns home, she fears she may not survive the ordeal.
Despite’s multiple Paid ransom and demands met Jamila’s abductors refused to let her go.
Wallhi is like the media don’t care too much about her, the energy is very low.
May Allah keep her safe wherever she is. 🙏🏽
