One of the most shocking stories of our times. @Meta is earning money from promoting child sexual abuse ads on Instagram. New levels of exploitation of children and women by Big Tech.

. @MaktoobMedia's subscription rate is among the most affordable in the Indian media. But the cost of what we do is high.
Covering human rights abuses in India comes with constant hate and threats, day in and day out. We receive abusive calls (one came early this morning), face targeted hate campaigns against our social media handles, and endure threats and slurs from the Hindutva ecosystem aimed at our staff and freelancers who bring these stories to the world.
There are also notices and FIRs. And above all, there is the emotional and physical toll of reporting the most cruel forms of violence, online and offline, often by reporters who themselves come from vulnerable communities, whose own community members are under constant attack.
Subscribe to @MaktoobMedia for one year. It will help our team sustain financially and continue reporting courageously, without obstacles and constraints.

Together with @activate.rights, we're convening a 2-day workshop bringing together youth human rights defenders to reflect on the 2024 student-led uprising in Bangladesh — what it revealed, what it changed, and what remains to be resolved.
Through conversations, creative exercises, and storytelling, participants will explore how movements endure — and how collective memory can inspire civic futures grounded in rights, participation, & solidarity.
My agency (https://t.co/8Wcn3jHPjz) did the design for Zohran’s campaign.
While I wish I played a part, it was all the masterful work of my partners, Aneesh and Phil.
Having worked with these 2 for close to a decade, it’s no surprise they created what many consider (the most?) iconic political branding.
I’ve seen Aneesh go deep into the archives of typography and color theory, and Phil spend hours custom-building animations to bring a UI to life.
HYPED to see their work getting the credit it deserves.

“These self-imposed limits of the Western debate about colonialism have given the Kremlin an enormous propaganda advantage, enabling Putin to position Russia as an anti-colonial power, and himself as the champion of all victims of European colonialism.”
