I can figure out your issues for free. The kids don’t wanna go because you took out the play place and any sort of eye catching color. The parents don’t wanna go because it’s sit down meal prices for the same half quality food.
Hope this helps.
HOT TAKE: nobody in 1980 needed a budgeting app, a personal finance coach, and a second job just to afford a one bedroom apartment. this isn't a spending habits problem. it's a wage suppression problem.
seeing people argue against a 32 hr work week is insane. yall need hobbies, friends, sunlight.. literally anything outside of work. life is not supposed to be about working until you die
I hate when people say, “Change takes time.” Then why were Flock cameras and data centers rolled out so quickly? It feels like change only happens fast when it benefits the wealthy or expands the surveillance state.
The fact that you need a bachelor's degree to answer phones and schedule meetings is genuinely insane. Receptionists in 1985 had high school diplomas and bought houses. Now you need $60k in debt to do the same job for less money after inflation. We made credentials expensive and called it progress.
I just want to point out… the amount of money the U.S. has spent on war in the last 2.5 months is roughly the same cost that Bernie Sanders proposed for universal college. So the real question is never ‘can we afford it’… it’s what we choose to prioritize.
NO ONE in America gets what McConnell just did
IF you have FML, you must apply, provide drs' letters & follow ups. If it goes too long you lose your job
IF you have benefits like short-term disability, you do that & only get part of your normal pay.
He did NOTHING. FULL PAY.
Mitch McConnell disappeared for 3 months & kept his full salary
Disabled people are forced to prove they’re “still disabled” to remain in legislated poverty
Folks on SNAP must re-apply and prove they’re “still poor”
Republican Senators don’t even have to prove they’re alive
