Five years ago, on the night between June 22 and 23, a thunderstorm was raging outside.

Somewhere between the flashes and the noise, the name came to me as I was incorporating my company.

Tunet.

It means thunder in Romanian.

Back then, it was just a name and an idea.

What followed were five years of planning, building, changing direction, ups and downs, and a lot, a lot, a lot of work.

And now, exactly five years later, the thunderstorm came back.

I will take that as a sign. ⚡

Today, I am finally ready to introduce Tunet to the world.

Not as an idea.
Not as a plan.
As something real.

This is Day 1.

And over the coming week, I will unveil not 1, not 2, not 3, but close to 30 products that have been brewing inside Tunet’s labs.

The Grok mobile app’s GitHub connector is straight-up bad compared to the smooth GitHub mobile agent sessions or Codex mobile.

I’m actually sad about it, was really curious to see what Grok could do with my codebase. 😔

I noticed this week that reaching out to friends and family for a chat as well as getting out of my comfort zone and going to the pub by myself to work from my phone and just chill for a minute helps the process

Update for anyone following the thread: After sharing all the details again via DMs and a few checks apparently now the issue is that I have an active billing account which basically means “you already pay us so why would we give you credits” so yeah I stand by my statement that @googlecloud startup programme is a scam. Love their products though.

Despite being a huge fan and heavy user of Google Cloud and someone who’s always advocated for their products, I have to call it out: their Startup Program is a complete scam.

I applied for the $2,000 in credits I’m eligible for as a non-VC-backed founder. Denied. Reason? Some of my company’s products are structured via a joint-venture route. I even sent them the full legal contract and EU trademark registration proving I own and control 100% of the tech. Apparently that’s “not good enough.”

Super disappointed.@googlecloud , do better. 🚫
