This is why regulators don’t take traders seriously you’re sending mails full of opinions without any empirical backing , capital markets policy isn’t decided on gut feel it’s decided on data , if you want to argue for weekly options you need to actually cite ssrn or researchgate papers that show how their introduction reduced realized volatility, improved depth in order books, and lowered hedging costs
There are published studies on india too that measure liquidity and volatility spillovers post-weekly introduction those need to be in your email not just
“I believe” statements
policy people respond to reviewed evidence and credible references ,if you want to convince sebi build a note that has citations, charts, and links to academic work otherwise you’re asking them to change regulations for nothing

🚨Dear Traders

If animal lovers can get the Supreme Court to reverse its decision, then can’t we traders work hard to save weekly expiry — especially when so many lives have been lost due to street dogs?
Have traders just accepted defeat and decided to see whatever happens next?

No one’s going to get up and protest on the streets, but at least make an effort on social media so this issue can reach mainstream media.

Starting tomorrow, I’ll post daily to ensure weekly expiry isn’t banned — at least until the consultation paper is released and even after that, I’ll keep pushing for it not to be banned.

Dear traders, let’s come together this time. Keep your egos aside and unite. Just making memes won’t help — even the government and SEBI might take this as a joke. We need to be serious about this issue.

Don’t wait for them to implement anything. We have a strong community of capable traders .
if we all speak up, it will have an impact. This is our right — don’t let it go
