J&K has no meaningful private sector. For thousands of educated youth here, a government job is not just a career aspiration, it is the only ray of hope.
Yet JKPSI 2024 aspirants continue to suffer in silence. The notification is still pending, and despite repeated assurances from several leaders, age relaxation has not been granted till date. For many aspirants, this delay is not just administrative negligence it is slowly snatching away their final chance.
J&K already bears the highest unemployment burden in the country. In such circumstances, granting age relaxation is not a privilege, it is a necessary relief.
The elected government has clearly stated that this matter falls under the domain of the Hon’ble LG administration and rightly so. The same relief was granted in 2022. Ladakh has recently done the same for its aspirants. Then why are J&K aspirants being ignored?
Why this silence? Why this indifference towards the youth who have already suffered enough?
This is a heartfelt appeal to the Hon’ble LG administration and BJP leadership: please intervene and grant age relaxation for JKPSI 2024. Don’t let deserving aspirants lose hope because of delay. Their future deserves urgency, empathy and justice.
