Providing these to patients with pressure sores on discharge from hospital can improve independence and quality of life and reduce care needs
Today our occupational therapists had a group in service session led by specialist pain OT, Heather, on resilience & the importance of also looking after ourselves
A brilliant session which will also be adapted for our physiotherapists and therapy assistant practitioners 🤩

Today @enyatookephysio and @melmcgeary15 have successfully completed their training to become accredited lung ultrasound physiotherapists 🫁. Thank you @sonophysio and Dr Stosic for your support. They are the first physios within the trust to be accredited! @JamesPagetNHS

The morning was spent listening to the amazing webinar from @RCOTMajorHealth on OT’s in respiratory care followed by the brilliant presentation from our students, amazing to hear the students so excited that they have personally made a difference in our patients lives @OT_UEA
