Recruit Field day at Dalton Barracks. A mix of skills at arms and fieldcraft lessons today. Vegetarian all day breakfast went down a treat!!

Today, we have been paying tribute to, and remembering, those who have given their lives in conflict and especially the Old Abingdonians who perished in the two World Wars. https://t.co/u0dpowdWmk

Many thanks to @JTChinook for coming to inspect the contingent for a very special Coronation Parade. Another proud day for Abingdon School CCF Cadets. Well done and God Save the King!

To celebrate the upcoming Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and the Queen Consort, students and staff at Abingdon School today celebrated with a CCF inspection parade, whole school Coronation ceremony, and singing of the National Anthem. https://t.co/b2VUvw1VTJ

Congratulations to all the cadets who won awards on Easter camp. Cadet Frears (best recruit), Cadet Badcock (most improved recruit), Cadet Van Poortvliet (best AIC) and Cpl Nolan (best NCO). Well done!

[Abingdon School CCF @AbingdonSchCCF]

A big thank you to all the NCOs and Staff who gave up their time to come and help teach / assist with this year's camp. Without them, the cadets wouldn't get these opportunities to develop the key skills the CCF aims to provide.

[Abingdon School CCF @AbingdonSchCCF]

Congratulations to Cadet Frears for winning the best recruit on camp this year, and Cadet Badcock for winning the most improved recruit.

Easter Camp was a great success last week (apart from the weather). Recruits enjoyed cooking their own meals while on exercise.

Congratulations to our two newest Corporals. Excellent effort on Easter Camp so far this week, well done!
