If everything works out and falls into place, I will be able to pay off my house next year. Just need to lock in a little longer.
Imma make sure my fiancé and daughter live comfortably😌.
@Queen_Miso@EugeneMc83 Please take a closer look at the two pictures you sent:
The first one is combining African and Black Americans
The second one just states “Non-Hispanic Black”
Now what does that mean lol🤔?
The Caribbean population in the 1920 was relatively SMALL compared to the 1960s & 1980s (MASS immigration). The U.S. had STRICT immigration laws (wish we still did)
Jamaican Shower Posse (drug dealers & violent degenerates), a notorious gang in NYC
The Caribbean population has been neck to neck with black Americans since the 70s (might be smaller due to the census combining Black American and African American populations)
I implore you to look into the influence and power Italian gangs had in NYC throughout its history.

@Queen_Miso@EugeneMc83 Also mind you the data combined the Black and African Americans population.
So there’s a possibility that the BA population ALONE was smaller than PR/Caribbean since the 70s.
@EugeneMc83@Queen_Miso I was born and raised in the Bronx, and my family has been in NYC since the late 50s.
Dominicans and Puerto Ricans have been in the Bronx since the 60s.
Jamaicans and Trinidadians been living in Gunhill and White Plains Road since the 20s.
There’s been an influx of Caribbeans since the 1920s, 1960s, and 1980s.
Not to mention the biggest and notorious gangs in NYC history were not Caribbean.
We started to see an influx (mass immigration) during the 80s, but they were coming in before then
Flatbush- Puerto Ricans, Jamaicans, Haitians (who always claimed they were from DR), Panamanians, some Africans & Trinidadians
A lot of them were in gangs & drug dealers
Bro what are you talking about lol
Dominicans and Puerto Ricans have been in NYC for multiple generations, especially in the Bronx and Washington Heights.
Hostos Community College opened in the 60s to accommodate Hispanics students in NYC 💀
