Told my wife to have dinner ready at 6 or I will obliterate her entire civilization.
She now charges me a fee to use the bathroom, that used to be free, and I didn't get dinner. WTF
This week at Intercom we hit over 19% of PRs auto-approved by our PR review agent based on Claude Code. Our ambitious goal is to get to 50+% by the end of this month. I'll spill all the details below and you decide yourself if we are out of our damned minds or onto something...
58,000 Americans died in Vietnam.
Over 3,000,000 Vietnamese died.
And for fifty years, American culture has centered the grief of the 58,000 while treating the 3,000,000 as a backdrop.
As scenery. As context. As "the Vietnam War experience."
They built a wall in Washington with American names on it.
A beautiful wall. A solemn wall.
Good. Mourn your dead.
But understand what that wall does not say.
It does not say why they died.
It does not say what they were doing there.
It does not say what was done in their name to the people whose country it actually was.
It does not mention My Lai, where American soldiers massacred an entire village, old men, women, children, babies, and the officer who ordered it served three years of house arrest before being pardoned.
Three years. House arrest. Pardoned.
For five hundred people murdered in a ditch.
It does not mention the 2.7 million acres of Vietnamese forest doused in Agent Orange, a chemical weapon disguised as herbicide, that is still deforming Vietnamese children today.
Not in 1970. Not in 1985. Today.
Children born in 2020 with bodies twisted by a war their grandparents fought.
And the chemical companies that made it are still in business.
Still profitable.
Still un-prosecuted.
And yet they send us human rights reports.
They grade our democracy.
They warn us about our behavior.
The audacity is so enormous it becomes almost impressive.
Almost.
Just like everybody else this week, we've also been experimenting with cli interfaces.
You can now sign-up for Intercom, configure and install Fin and the messenger from inside your agent.
npm install -g @intercom/cli
It's wild how fast things are changing.
BREAKING
Spain’s MEP Irene Montero:
“No woman has ever been freed by American bombs or illegal aggression.
Not in Syria. Not in Iraq. Not in Lebanon. Not in Afghanistan.
And it will not happen in Iran either.
They hide behind women’s rights to justify their colonial wars.”
#WATCH | Delhi | Inna Makan, Mother of the 23-year-old Sahil Dhaneshra, who died in a road accident after an SUV driven allegedly by a minor collided with his motorcycle, appeals for justice.
She says, "...My son was going to the office on the 3rd of February...He (Scorpio driver), along with his sister, was out on his Scorpio to make fun reels. The speed with which the Scorpio is being driven is clearly visible in the reel...He (Scorpio driver) was driving in the opposite lane and came right in front of the bus and performed a stunt...My son looked to the right to see whether there was space. Because there was an e-rickshaw on the left side of the bus...The Scorpio collided with the motorcycle and hit the roadside parked car. The Scorpio driver did not apply the brakes after the collision. Even a cab driver has been seriously injured in the accident...This is a criminal activity. Some people think that they can do anything on the road because their parents are wealthy, this is a criminal mentality...This is not just an accident. My son died due to their fun reel...There are already many over-speeding challans against him (Scorpio), yet his father did not stop him from driving...I want justice for my son...No one is safe on the road due to people like them...Strict action should be taken against them...He (Scorpio driver) does not even have a license..."
I lost my son sahil Dhaneshra a 22+ year old young and most talented boy whom I raised for 23 years alone as a single mom ,was killed brutally by a scorpio N bearing no.UP57BM3057 driver is an unlicensed driver and his sister while making speed fun reels in #dwarka#delhipolice

UNREAL SCENES.
Just got off a Ryanair flight to Dublin.
On landing pilot announced “Elon Musk is a wanker”.
The whole plane clapped and whooped like Ireland won the World Cup.
@Madisonkanna Totally relate with this!
It’s amazing to use AI to create a plan and then see it implement it by creating/updating so many files in a matter of minutes. But it also makes me anxious at times to what’s gonna happen in a few years? How will our roles change?
Did you know you can stash your prompt in Claude Code?

No more copying to Notes. It's like git stash, but for your prompts.

Nothing shakes a child more than to realize that their parents suffered all their life.
To see their father cry, to see their mother console - that hardens kids.
Every difficult circumstance thereafter that the child faces, every failure that is glorified as the stepping stone to their success, is merely an outcome of what crushed them psychologically.
To see their parents defeated.
Every. Single. Day.
Lack of generational wealth is an extreme sport because you saw the best athletes you knew, your parents, never make the cut.
But,
If your parents grew with peace with their pace, with purpose more than desire, with patience more than hustle - the same lack of generational wealth reduces to: “I have enough to survive. Let’s see if I can thrive”
We grew up with virtually no money.
Lived on borrowed money, subsidized education and a Maggi pack split between 4 of us.
But we knew we had enough to survive.
We knew that irrespective of what happens, we are never going to be on the streets.
A car was beyond imagination but the next meal was never in question.
That set us up on a very different path.
Life was not an extreme sport.
Instead became a game of optimization.
So the question stopped being ‘how do I survive?’ and became ‘what do I want to optimize for?
And that's why I have seen myself move from chasing validation, to chasing money, to chasing clarity, to finally realizing the same thing that my parents did.
That I have enough.
That some sports needn't be played to be enjoyed.
