Improve the regional lines, build HS2, HS3 and actually it should go all the way to Edinburgh or Glasgow. Westminster has no vision or ideas. Spain has high speed rail from seville to madrid. @coeliacpositive I agree. It seems as the fad gf people went vegan for whatever reason, we as medically diagnosed restrictive dieters have gone back to one choice again. Vegan is a choice. Coeliac or restrictive diets due to allergies are not.

Re stripping franchises: you can't run a railway on tired tracks, knackered stock and broken promises. The best operator in the world could not move people around up here in a fashion that is close to acceptable on the current running gear. We need investment, not scapegoats.

@nicolacoughlan I think we need to teach the whole sorry spectacle of the 'British Empire' from the invasion of Ireland in the 1600's as the primary 'colony' and go out. Too much 'white saviour' empire from lack of knowledge. I didnt know lots until uni, when i specifically chose to find out
