The droplets of rain fall from the sky
They land upon the leaves of the trees
The soil dampens with delight
A moment of sudden shock and awe flows from the surroundings
A sigh of moisture floats along the wind
And a smell one can only experience sits upon my thoughts
A nice second of respite for a turbulent mind
Wanted to write a #poem today teehee
The Greatest Storyteller
Hidden away within the minds of many, being a mentor, a lover, a friend, an enemy, they give all they can to those who can listen. Beautiful stories of true love, tragic tales of fallen heroes, mysteries of monsters and the unknown.
They recite, they act, they play, and the audience watches with horror, glee, pain, and awe.
"We Love You!" they shout.
"We Hate You!" they scream.
"Why You?" they grumble.
The storyteller smiles.
"Hahahaha, I'm just having fun," says the storyteller. "There are so many stories to tell, and I need help to tell them. Take, if you must, be inspired by my words. Use me for your subject, take me for a ride while so many will watch. They will gain all that they can, and so will you...
Oh, my dearest audience, my Gaea, my Love, my Universe. Stay awhile and listen."
#wiritingcommunity #storyidea just a small short story idea is all 🤷♀️
Mobile Suit #Gundam 0083: Stardust Memories 🚀
#UniversalCentury
Okay, I finally finished this one...
What to say? Um... First of all, I DID like it, but boy oh boy, does this show have some major flaws. 😂 I can absolutely see this being someone's favorite or their introduction to Gundam back in the '90s, so don't hate me, alright?!
It's got charm and some genuinely impactful moments. You know, like dropping a colony on Earth... AGAIN. 💀
It's also got some unique designs, not just for the mobile suits, mobile armors, and ships, but for the world itself! I loved seeing the colonies feel more alive, with ordinary people going about their daily lives, sleazy bars, and all those little details that make the setting feel like an actual place people live.
BUT GOOD LORD, THIS ANIME NEEDED MORE TIME.
Maybe another 10–12 episodes could've helped flesh things out, give the relationships more weight, and, I don't know, actually make me CARE about some of these characters?!
Seriously, Nina... WHAT DO YOU SEE IN KOU?! 😭 Like, girl, PLEASE.
Honestly, Nina ditching Kou after seeing Gato again after, what, eight years apart? That was probably the most relatable scene in the entire show. 💀
ANYWAY, I still had fun! No matter what, Gundam is gonna Gundam, and I'm almost always gonna have a good time watching it.
I just wish this one had been a little more fleshed out. Maybe it's the weird pacing, the bland dialogue, or the way some of the relationships are handled... Or maybe, somehow, this is exactly what Stardust Memories was always meant to be.
Either way, on to the next Gundam! 🚀❤️
A long time ago, before Jesus Crabs had died, tied to the driftwood at sea for our crabby sins, there was a lone crab who lived among the harsh wastelands of the rocks.
They were nothing special, mind you, just a crab like any other. But they had something different that set them apart from their peers: a need to test everything out, to understand more and more, and to find different ways to relax among the wet, cold, or sometimes dry-as-hell rocks.
They'd often find slightly pointy rocks and try to balance their entire body on them, remaining perfectly still.
For hours, they would stay like that, finding peace in the sound of the crashing waves among the rocks, the wind gliding over their shell, and the new sand that rolled in with the waves.
The land, the sea, and the sky were one.
Buddha Crabs was born.

Oh, and if you're wondering about #08thMSTeam, I don't need to watch that one because I've already watched it THREE TIMES. 😂
It's easily one of my all-time favorite Gundam anime!
I watched it later in life, after growing up with Gundam Wing, where the Gundam pilots were basically unstoppable killing machines who could seemingly never lose. 💀
But 08th MS Team made me realize something…
Gundams don't have to be unstoppable superweapons. Sometimes, they're just better equipment.
And what REALLY matters isn't the machine itself, but the people fighting alongside you. The team. The unit. The people who have your back when everything goes to hell.
That's what makes 08th MS Team so special to me. It's not just about having the strongest mobile suit on the battlefield.
It's about the people inside them. ❤️
God, I love Gundam.
#Gundam#universalcentury
Okay the Gundam anime series watch continues I'm a little past half way through 0083 stardust memories.
So far these are some of the best drawn gundams and mobile suits so far that I've watched and a lot of them are just really freaking cool like the mobile armour that Kelley Lazner pilots on the moon that thing is badass looking, MA-06 Val Malo.
The only problem with this anime that I've noticed, is the rushed dialogue.... It's not good and a little jarring but it's got a certain old school anime charm to it.
Anyways I'm liking it for the fights and the mechs not the story is all but all in all it's good.
Continuing the story! 😁

Names were special amongst the common folk, the serfs, the slaves... The people.
Most were given a basic name like Bill, George, or maybe Sue when they were first born, just to provide at least a slight differentiation. But to be called something by a group was the start of a new name, a title, an identity that could transcend the person over time.
It could easily start off small. For instance, a young woman who decided to lead when no one else would, doing so not only to save herself but others as well.
"Leader... We've taken care of the last archer. The ones running away are gone, and we've secured their equipment. We're ready to take aim and give them hell like they did to us."
"Leader, we're ready."
"Leader..."
"Leader."
It was foreign to the young woman's ears. No, the young leader's ears.
This was who she was now, covered in blood, sporting new scars, and wearing a grim smile that would send most people packing with their tails between their legs.
"Leader" resonated with her. It felt good, right, and one thing she hadn't expected...
Worrisome.
People's lives were now truly in her hands, and she'd already gotten a handful of people killed due to her decisions. Not just the people who followed her, but the enemy as well.
"Hahahahahaha...."
"Leader?"
Most of the group looked at her in concern at the sudden burst of laughter.
"Hehehe, it's nothing...
GIVE 'EM HELL!"
@valricai More or less the same
Except I sorta revel in it
"WAKE UP SOLDIER! WE GOTTA MISSION OUTSIDE"
"What's that sir".
"...we gotta get groceries"
"I'm locked and loaded sir"
A young child sat in their hospital bed at night, looking blankly at the wall in front of them. They had been in the hospital their whole life, and soon they were to leave, but not in the way they had hoped.
Out of the shadows walked a being whose features seemed feminine, though the child could not be sure. A bright glow seemed to envelop the being, but only the silhouette of the "person" could be seen.
"Well, then, that's something. Most people cower, run, or simply look at me dumbfounded. But I seem to be just another visitor to you, it seems," said the being.
"Nothing scares me anymore. My doctors said I could die at any moment. What am I supposed to fear now?"
"Oh... Well, that sucks."
"...Pfft. Hahahahaha!"
The child couldn't hold back their laughter. Of all the things someone could say, that had to be the most straightforward and honest response. Everyone always babied them or tried to sweeten their words with those sad eyes. The blunt, to-the-point statement was quite refreshing, and the child truly needed the laugh.
"So then... Are you the devil, an angel, or some god?"
"Hmmm. I've been called many things, all three of those, in fact. Demon, Devil, God, Savior, Nightmare, etc. The list goes on. I simply heard a plea, a true desire for something from a wounded soul in need. I'm here to hear your request."
The child looked at the being with confusion.
"My soul has a request?" they pondered. What could it be?
The being standing by the child's bedside took a seat next to them. In that moment, the child could have sworn they saw a face with a smile.
"Just ask what comes naturally to you. What do you want, child?"
"I want to be a book, so that everyone will read my story. All the thoughts and beauty I've kept hidden in my imagination, for all to see and wonder."
"Then so it shall be."
A book began to form in the being's right hand, while the child smiled and began to drift into their final slumber.
"A great masterpiece that many shall know of, my dear... So rest now and be merry..."

Continuing my story! #WritingCommunity#battle
She would lead the way up the hill towards this small group of archers. The young woman didn't know tactics yet; she was merely moving on instinct, charging blindly forward with her shield raised.
The world around her was slowing down. Adrenaline was rushing through her as a sense of "flow" enveloped her.
She could hear some of the people who had decided to trust her with their lives falling behind, dying from arrows left and right, but she did not stop. That would only lead to a much worse outcome.
Their deaths sent a spike of rage through her. The "flow" became a raging, roaring river.
Her elation grew when her spear finally found purchase in the neck of a shocked enemy soldier.
Move...
Kill the next one...
By the third enemy down, the roaring, motley crew she'd put together came charging in fast. Not just for vengeance, but to protect their new "leader."
I'm live on Twitch, I think? Am I Live? Oh God why would I do this to myself can you believe there are other idiots like me that do the same thing, crazy right? https://t.co/MsJPbq3Ph3
Continuing the #story.
Gotta make a name for it at some point, but eh, we’ll get to that.
Roughly thirty had heeded her call. Some fools, however, wanted no part in it. They claimed that working together like this made them anything but real warriors. All those fools accomplished was rushing headfirst into their own deaths.
The people around her had killed two to three times as many enemies as those idiots, yet they had suffered only a handful of casualties. The few deaths and wounds they had sustained came from a group of enemy archers, the very same archers they were now preparing to charge head-on.
Something had begun to spark within the young woman.
The will to survive. The hunger for more. The smell of battle, the shouts of warriors, and the thunderous roar building in her chest.
It all erupted into a smile.
Elation. Ecstasy.
This isn't about what I want anymore. This is who I am.
"We shall take those bows from the enemy and use them against them!"
The smile stretched across her face. It was an evil smile, yet there was something reassuring about it to her newfound brothers and sisters. It promised victory, or at least the courage to fight for it.
And, somehow, it was contagious..
Okay, so I watched another #Gundam#UniversalCentury anime: Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket.
Okay, so… IDK WHAT TO SAY ABOUT THIS ONE. 😭
I liked it A LOT, but man… this show is just straight-up depressing.
They really show you what this war looks like to the people caught outside of it. The civilians. The people just trying to live their lives. And they tell it all from the perspective of a CHILD, no less.
And that ending…
HOW DO I EVEN PUT THIS INTO WORDS?
It’s just… something that never should’ve happened. And I guess THAT’S THE POINT.
Senseless death. A rookie soldier trying his best. A traumatized kid who has to live with the fact that his childhood friend got hurt and his new best friend was killed, all because he wanted to play soldier.
He wanted to be part of the adventure. He wanted to see the cool mobile suits and be a hero.
Instead, he got a front-row seat to what war actually does to people.
MAN. WHAT THE HELL. 😭
#Gundam0080 #WarInThePocket
OK HOLY CRAP.
I FINISHED THE ORIGINAL #Gundam #0079!!! 🚀🔥
That was CRAZY. In all honesty, this show is actually pretty freaking FIRE, especially those last few episodes. HOLY FRICK, THAT WAS GOOD. 😭
Now then…
I gotta say, Mirai—the helmswoman—is BY FAR my favorite character. I don’t even know why. The girl just clicked with me, you know? 😂
Sayla/Artesia is pretty awesome too. She took a little while for me to fully understand, but eventually I ended up LOVING her.
And then there’s my man…
THE ONE.
THE ONLY.
CHAR/CASAVAL. 🔥😎
HOLY SHIT, THIS GUY IS FREAKING COOL.
All the way through to the end, and then that FINAL BAZOOKA BLAST RIGHT INTO KYCLIA’S FACE AS SHE TRIES TO ESCAPE?!?!
#CINEMA 🎬🔥
