Politics has really destroyed friendships, today i was travelling with my colleague Musa to Pantongo, we were enjoying Bobi Wine songs in the car, everything was fine, then i jokingly played a Museveni political song
Musa laughed, parked the car on the side of the road & said, step out of my car, i also laughed, thinking he was joking, until he opened the door for me, so now im on a lorry going back to Lira to first rest a bit ๐๐๐๐๐ฟ

@kutegyekaivan1@igp_ug1@BajeProducts The question goes back to poor roads, the quality? people in charge of these public road contracts need tobe more serious and effective about their work, because we all get affected, either by means or.Ugandans need to invest more in the Transport sector mostly the Road networkโ๏ธ
DEAR IGP, WHY CANโT TRAFFIC POLICE BOSSES RESIGN & LET THOSE PATRIOTIC & CAPABLE TAKE OVER?
Dear @igp_ug1 i have raised issues concerning road safety in Uganda many times & wat pains me most is the pattern we keep seeing, Abapakasi canโt keep dying prematurely daily & we keep silent
a serious accident happens, people die, the country gets angry & suddenly Traffic Police (@PoliceUg ) comes up with a new strategy, we are then told, โthese Sino truck drivers are young men, some donโt even have permits, some lack experience, we are informed about lorries which park on highways without reflectors, we are going to handle them.โ u can imagine
but my question is simple; WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING IN THOSE OFFICES?
are we supposed to wait for people to die before enforcement begins? are we supposed to wait for an accident to trend on social media before dangerous vehicles, unqualified drivers & reckless operators are identified?
the Uganda Police itself says the Traffic & Road Safety Directorate is responsible for enforcing traffic & road safety laws across the country (Uganda Police Forceโ ) so why do we always seem to react after the tragedy instead of preventing it?
Uganda does not lack patriotic & capable officers, if someone has failed to deliver on such a critical responsibility, perhaps it is time to step aside & allow someone with fresh ideas, energy & commitment to take over, road safety is not a public relations exercise that begins after people die, it is a daily responsibility, just involve us we participate in this fight practically not just on โ๐ป
some of these bosses should seriously ask themselves whether it is time to resign & give others a chance
