The ability to perform tasks effectively bad efficiently - competence, the state of being dedicated to a cause, or organization - commitment and the degree of freedom to which a person has control over their own actions and decisions - confidence (3Cs) are key elements that determine the success of a leader. The first requires knowledge, skills and experiences, the second requires engagement, buying in and trust, and the last requires freedom, and independence that enhances creativity. Understanding and balancing the 3Cs in the field of leadership leads to more effective personal and professional lives, where leaders feel capable, dedicated, and free to act in ways that align with goals.
Congratulations to Dr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi, who is elected as the President of Somaliland. The election of Abdullahi, founder and chairman of the Wadani Party, is considered as a significant event in Somaliland's political landscape, showcasing the commitment of @Somaalilanders to democratic processes. Many Somalilanders are expressing hope for economic development and international recognition under his presidency.
Somaliland lost one of her notable political figures!
H.E Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud "Silanyo" was a significant political figure in Somaliland. A British trained economist who involved with the Somali National Movement (SNM) that fought against the regime of Siad Barre, held various government positions before founding the Kulmiye Party in 2002. In 2010, Silanyo won the presidential election as an opposition candidate and served as a President from 2010 to 2017. Silanyo’s contributions to Somaliland's political landscape and his efforts towards its development make him a notable figure in the history of Somaliland. He passed away in Hargeisa today, reflecting a significant loss for the nation waiting for election results.
My Condolences for the @Somaalilanders!
