@SyShere No, not all. To ‘let go’ is to be free of negative personal desires and false concepts and to fully accept reality for what it is, not what you want it to be. I would recommend you investigate Buddhist teachings and practises to get a fuller understanding.

@SyShere Star Wars is all about letting go. Non-attachment does not mean being cold and unfeeling. It simply means drawing a distinction between loving wholesomely and selflessly and surrendering to unhealthy personal desires.

@SyShere Furthermore, Lucas made very clear that there is a massive distinction between selfless love and possessive love. Anakin never learned how to love selflessly, and subsequently, his unhealthy (selfish) attachment to Padme led him down an evil path that could have been avoided.
