From audit follow-up to communication across ship and shore, effective Safety Management System (SMS) implementation depends on getting the fundamentals right.

The 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦: 𝐃𝐏𝐀 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 course offers training on implementing SMS in compliance with the International Safety Management (ISM) Code. Participants will build their understanding of the role and responsibilities of a designated person ashore (DPA), with a focus on the practical side of SMS implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement.
