From 2015–16 to 2016–17 there were decreases in offender numbers in:
Vic, down 3% or 1,910 offenders
Qld, down 4% or 4,225 offenders
ACT, down 4% or 102 offenders
NT, down 2% or 202 offenders
SA, down 1% or 389 offenders

"Department stores (-0.6%), cafes, restaurants and takeaways (-0.1%), and clothing, footwear and personal accessory retailing (-0.1%) also fell. Food retailing rose (0.7%) in December 2017."
"There were falls for household goods retailing (-2.6%) and other retailing (-1.8%) following strong rises in the November month," said Ben James, Director of Quarterly Economy Wide Surveys.
In seasonally adjusted terms, there were falls in Vic (-0.8%), NSW (-0.4 %), WA (-0.8 %), Tas (-1.6%), the ACT (-1.5%), SA (-0.3%), and the NT(-0.7 %). Qld was relatively unchanged (0.0 per cent).
