BREAKING: El-Rufai Seeks Responsibility from NJC

Even after over a year, the National Judicial Council has failed to act on the petition filed by Mallam Nasir El-Rufai against Justice R. M. Aikawa of the Federal High Court, Kaduna.

In his second reminder dated 9 March 2026, El-Rufai demanded that the NJC uphold judicial responsibility and provide an update on his complaint, which alleges bias, denial of fair hearing, and misconduct by Justice Aikawa.
This is a call for transparency and fairness. Leadership and integrity must be respected even in the judiciary.
