Kenyan businesses are now turning to solar power to cut electricity costs and secure a more reliable supply.
In the first six months of 2026, they added 72.8MW of solar for their own use, pushing total self-generated power to 676.6MW
SHA was never built to work. It's a scam, plain and simple, just like the unaffordable housing scheme.
The entire agenda exists only to enrich Ruto and his associates but at our expense.
Don't expect anything good to come from a rotten system.
Spending another kshs 50 billion on HMIS after just spending kshs 104 billion on SHA is economic sabotage by the government.
UDA spends public money as if Kenyans wake up everyday just to go make money for Ruto to waste.
In 2027, we must stop this madness.
Last month, total electric bill at @KarisMedical Naalya was 100k. At our Kyanja location, it was 2.6m! Sometimes it has gone as high as 3m. At Naalya, I made the decision to use solar as primary, and umeme as backup. We run all air conditioning, lab equipment, refrigeration, washer and dryer, lights, computers, everything! Naalya still experiences power outages. We haven’t. Solar is the future!
Article 35 (1) Every citizen has the right of access to information held by the State.
Article 35 (3): The State SHALL publish and publicise any important information affecting the nation.
Disclosure of information is a Constitutional imperative not something left to the whims of one person. The era of secretive deals negotiated in the dark will end when we kick this current regime out and return our country back to the rule of Law.
After DCI claiming that KTn reported fake news, KTN has exposed the name of the DCI who was transferred and asked DCI to produce the CCTV footage of 18th April.

Aliko Dangote: We will come back to commission the Lamu Oil Refinery in 40 months. We will set up a training school for those with engineering degrees and diplomas
I would like to call upon @GovUganda, through Hon. Minister @R_Nabbanja and @KCCAUG, to come out and extend support to this gentleman during the upcoming National Cleaning Day on the last Saturday of the next month.
He has shown remarkable initiative and commitment to keeping our environment clean, but individual effort alone is not enough to create lasting impact. What he truly needs is institutional backing to amplify his work and inspire others in the community.
If Government can support him with financial facilitation, garbage disposal trucks, and additional manpower, the results will be transformative. Such support will not only make the cleaning exercise more effective but will also demonstrate that Government values and encourages citizen led efforts towards a cleaner, healthier Uganda.
Justice for Antony Ochieng!! The guy who was arrested by DCI officers from Kasarani Police Station in Githurai is dead. The police have claimed that he died in a road accident, but we know the people who last saw him alive were the police.
The man being arrested in frame one by @DCI_Kenya officers is called Anthony Ochieng.
Shortly after being arrested in Kasarani, Anthony has been found dead.
@DCI_Kenya says he has died in a road accident and Kenyans are asking two questions,
1. In this road accident, he is the only one who got injured?
2. How did he end up in a road accident when in the hands of DCI officers?
Smells like Muchiri Nyaga's statements of " he hit himself on the wall."
