“I think the difference is very large and very clear now.

Last season, when United were winning games, I said there is a big difference between being a caretaker and being a manager. Now is the right time to judge that difference.

When you watched Manchester United under Ruben Amorim, you saw a team willing to suffer, sacrifice and give everything for the badge.

You saw hunger. You saw intensity. You saw players fighting for every ball. When United dropped points, you could see the disappointment because the players genuinely felt they had failed the club.

But under Michael Carrick, the team looks completely different.

The players look tired. They don’t track back with the same desire. The intensity has disappeared, and at times it looks like some players are being forced to play rather than fighting to play.

Right now, I don't see enough of that.

If Carrick cannot bring that spirit and hunger back into this team quickly, Manchester United will continue going backwards.

@UtdMaI Disrupting the attack that delivered him the job is Carrick’s biggest mistake. Sesko and Amad being injured i can understand, but the only spot for Rashford should have been right wing; even Lacey would have benched Rashford

Maybe Carrick should consider putting Matheus Cunha back at his preferred LW position.

Rashford can be dangerous from the left too, but so far he hasn’t offered enough output to justify keeping Cunha away from his strongest position.
