A 45 year old BRS leader married an 18 year old girl when the parents of the girl failed to pay him the loan of ₹20 lakhs on 8th May 2026.

Her father and step mother married her to the BRS leader as they failed to repay the loan.

Her friends helped her escape on the next day of the marriage. Now, the BRS leader has filed cases like cheating, theft and other cases on her friend for helping her escape. Also giving him life threats.

The victim had now approached the Telangana women's commission for justice and protection.
