It was never our expectation to make much money off of this book, seeing it more as a labor of love and way of offsetting costs when we were traveling the country for a cappella events. We hope that the book might remain a useful resource to some in this electronic form.
Howdy friends, some news!
We're going to discontinue selling print copies of The A Cappella Book. Effective a week from today, Tuesday, 3/9, print copies will no longer be available unless you buy it used (we'll also have a small stash if someone's desperate after next week).
On the flip side, we're excited to announce we are, effectively immediately, giving away the electronic version of the book for free. Just go to the book page (linked below) and click "Download the PDF." This will continue for the foreseeable future. https://t.co/vphbkwp8DZ
My book, YOU MIGHT FORGET THE SKY WAS EVER BLUE, is live! Here’s the Virtual Release video. Retweet within 1 week, and I’ll enter you in a drawing to win a free signed book, and I’ll throw in a signed copy of my chapbook AUTOPSY AND EVERYTHING AFTER too. https://t.co/qrwrd965di
As we approach a new school year and your groups are looking to perform new music, feel free to reach out to me for custom and/or stock arrangements! E-mail me at [email protected] and feel free to visit my website for some samples of my work - https://t.co/ZCDke0r9Qe
Terrible customer service from @LuxorLV
1) Booked room & buffet deal
2) Told at checkin time room “isn’t ready yet”
3) Returned hour later w/ crying toddler overdue for nap
Seven years back, one of the peaks of my career blogging about a cappella came when I got the opportunity to interview Jerry Lawson. It was a great conversation with a great entertainer. I can’t believe he’s gone. https://t.co/KNJ8mlDuX3
@AcavilleRadio Always a pleasure to cross paths. We’ll look forward to seeing you and, in the meantime, appreciate you keeping us and the masses informed on all things aca!
