@greenmiranda Stay home , protect the NHS,save lives what's not clear.
Pm to address nation on Sunday evening again what's not clear.the only people who make this confusing is the media.
Whether you like the Government or not, most agree on the need for transparency.
If you treat people like adults, they'll act like it.
We should not be getting crucial info through anonymous sources quoted in the media (often wrong).
If this is going to work, we need trust.
539 reported fatalities today - this virus continues to take a horrific toll.
But don't forget the progress we've made. 4 weeks ago today, it was over 1100.
Unfortunately the one figure we want to see rise, the recoveries, isn't available - we should make that public.
There are too many mixed messages.
Now the PM's spokesman is playing down the headlines millions have seen today about the lockdown being eased.
Discipline is breaking down - we need to see the PM, not Raab, at the briefing today and he needs to be straight with the public.
I think newspapers have completely missed the mood of the nation. From what I am seeing on social media people are anxious about any easing of lockdown. I haven't seen the paper's celebratory tone reflected on social media or speaking to people irl.
@ProfKarolSikora As a country we need to stop the constant negative media all of the time we need to focus on positives not negatives .we need the government to lead and not to be led by the media .The opposition is there to question the government the media is there to report facts not opinions.
A potential easing of the lockdown is in all of the papers today.
It's good to have the discussion, but it has to be the Government leading it.
We shouldn't be receiving this information second hand through the papers - it needs to come from the top.
