Today ACBF and tourism stakeholders held a peaceful protest demanding the opening of Bugoma Forest boundaries. 21 people, including local leaders and guides, were arrested by Uganda Police.

ACBF condemns MZ agencies for uprooting original boundary pillars placed by the NFA and relocating them inside Bugoma Forest to alter its boundary.
We will follow this on the ground and any illegally placed pillars will be uprooted.
