@vamp_izana spectacular spiderman is a tv show with multiple episodes and plenty of chances to develop and make peter's dialogue more believable and easy to digest compared to tokon, where voicelines have to be kept short and sweet to match animations. its gonna fall short a little bit

@vamp_izana in tokon, a game where there's supposed to be insulting voice lines in the main gameplay (rivals has a decent portion of the lore be revealed through character dialogues), josh's delivery is fine. it's good, even. the story mode has him read a lot more emotional lines

@7Spideycomics of losing aunt may still probably weighs heavily on him. yuri is good for an old spidey, but josh is good for both young and old. the writing for rivals' spidey also has him act more like tom's homecoming peter, where his quips aren't as snappy

@7Spideycomics the issue with spidey's voice in rivals is that the voice direction with him is too high-pitched. theyre trying to make him seem younger than he is, and yuri's voice is not the best for that. in the insomniac games, spidey is 20+ and has to hold down several jobs + the stress >
